Who am I?
Since graduating with a BFA in Emergent Digital Practices at the University of Denver in 2015, I have been working full time with Virtual Reality. Initially I interned at TCC in the summer of 2014 and in 2015, gaining invaluable and relevant work-experience in the area where my long-term career ambitions lie. Importantly for me, I was able to utilize and a develop a number of the skills that I trained in, as part of my B.F.A. degree, from multimedia, audio-visual remixing, music, sound, and video editing/post-production, visual programming, and coding in 2D and 3D environments, as well as development of virtual reality content. Now I work as the Senior VR Engineer at a startup called Intervoke, helping to create a medical training platform for both VR and mobile devices.
Nevertheless, I am still open to exceptional opportunities where I can advance my knowledge and skills. Virtual reality (VR) is still in early stages of development and I believe it would be fulfilling to work for a company that has the commitment, creativity and resources to take VR to its next level in all of its application areas. Therefore, my ultimate ambition is to work for an organization that is at the forefront of innovation, with a forward-thinking approach to technology, and fosters creativity, innovation, collaboration, and inspiration among other like-minded individuals.
